FEED LINE OPTIONS
The choice of a coil line style (conventional, compact, etc.) depends much on the product being produced and the space available. While requiring the most space, a conventional line provides maximum versatility for the widest range of material thicknesses and yields. Additionally, it is the best choice for surface-critical applications. If floor space is tight, one of our SpaceSaver lines may be best. To lower the capital investment when running light gage materials, consider a servo feed with pull thru straightener and a powered reel (shown).
Shear options include pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical. The material characteristic, cutting speed and budget all play a part in determing the best shear. This also is true of stacking options. Stackers can be as simple as a drop stacker for non-sensitive materials or finger drop stacker can be used for more delicate materials. Any of these stackers can have a lift table (with or without powered roll out) or a conveyor (roller or chain) positioned under them for blank handling.
